It wasn’t long after I began revamping cataromance.com that I met Kate Walker and I’m happy to say that over the years Kate and I have become good friends. Kate’s in the UK and she writes fabulously sexy Harlequin Presents.

She’s been a great supporter of CataRomance over the years and she’s also written a fabulous book for writers that I’m always mentioning to writers I meet. Which of course means I’ll mention it here: Kate Walker’s 12 Point Guide to Writing Romance (Studymates Writers Guides). Kate’s the one who very gently informed (or rather reminded me) that not all domain names are sans hypen. Here’s is www.kate-walker.com. And I’ve forever remembered that.

One thing I like about my friendship with Kate is that even though we’re both busy, when we finally find a moment to catch up, it’s as if we never even left off.
