To tell the truth, I can’t remember exactly how Delores and I met. I lived on the Mississippi coast for a year with my hubby and while there, somehow met Delores. I remember attending a few RWA meetings over in Mobile Alabama with her. But what I remember most is sitting down for a great lunch at this little place she recommended in Ocean Springs. Fabulous food, Delores’ smile, and another new friend: Jenn. We’d meet up every so often and keep in touch via email outside of that.
Delores is one of those wonderful women who gives you great advice, the courage to believe you can do it, and a graceful smile that will brighten your day.
Of all the things I left behind in Mississippi, Delores is one I miss the most. But, I hear she’s since moved back to Texas and the coast of Mississippi is pretty much gone these days anyway. So that leaves email. And Facebook. 
By the way, Delores writes for Harlequin Intrigue and I hear she just got a pin from Harlequin to celebrate the publication of her 25th book!
