Amazingly enough (no gasping) we’ve just gotten the last of our Christmas decorations down. DarlingHusband and I usually aren’t in too much of a rush to take down the tree. It’s a big process, you see. Over ten feet of evergreen glory waiting to be de-limbed and stuffed into four giant storage boxed. That doesn’t include all the ornaments, ribbons, and the lights. Or hoisting all those boxes back into the attic.
But it’s nice, oh so nice, to have my house back to normal. Room to breath, space to walk… to be honest, it feels a bit empty. But I’m sure I’ll get over it once spring arrives.
Looking at the cold, rainy, windy weather outside, I don’t know that spring will ever get here.
