Alice Anderson wasn’t born a reader. Or a writer for that matter.
As a child, she spent her summers as a tomboy, climbing trees and hanging out with her grandparents. She certainly didn’t have time for her mother’s favorite hobby: reading.
But that all changed in 5th grade when she found the Thoroughbred books. Being a horse lover, she devoured the series. By high school she’d moved on to her current love: romance novels.
Somewhere along the way, she discovered that writers hung out online and since she had a knack for marketing and design, they could use her help. She spent ten years promoting romance authors and the genre via her creation, the CataNetwork.
Her website for writers has been named one of the Top 101 Websites for Writers by Writer’s Digest. Twice.
Her most recent project is a compilation of all her best advice and answers to her most frequently asked questions. Save yourself ten years and thousands of man hours by reading Tips for Authors ($4.99.)
